The University of Benin (UNIBEN) Post UTME (PUTME) and Post DIRECT ENTRY (PUDE) Admission Screening Exercise is planned to take place between Monday, October 9, 2023, and Saturday, October 14, 2023, in designated centers on the university's Ugbowo Campus.

UNIBEN Post-UTME/DE 2023: Cut-off Mark, Eligibility, and Registration Details
ELIGIBILITY: Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Only candidates who applied for the 2023/2024 UTME and DIRECT ENTRY Admission through JAMB, selected the University of Benin as their First Choice, and obtained a score of 200 and above (for UTME Candidates) are eligible for this Screening Exercise.
- Attained at least Five (5) credit passes in GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalents. The subjects must encompass English Language and Mathematics (for courses requiring a mathematics credit), along with three other pertinent subjects (four if mathematics is not included), all within not more than two sittings.
- Candidates are advised to possess a valid email account before initiating the application process.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applications will be accepted from 8:00 AM on Friday, August 25th, 2023, until midnight on Friday, September 22nd, 2023.
Here is the step-by-step procedure for the 2023/2024 Admission Screening (Post UTME and Post Direct Entry) Application:
- Visit www.uniben.edu.
- Access the WAEUP Student Portal.
- Click on "Register for Application" at the upper left corner of the displayed page to proceed.
- Input your Surname exactly as it appears on the JAMB Registration Slip and your JAMB Registration number. Your ID and Password will instantly appear on the browser.
- On the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal, click on 'login' (located at the top right of the front page).
- Enter your Username and Password to log in.
- To initiate the application process, click on 'Application Record' and provide all required information.
- To make the payment for the Application, click on "Add Online Payment Ticket" at the bottom of the page. Then, click on "Pay via Remita" at the top left corner of the page. Follow the instructions to pay the application fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) using a valid ATM-Enabled Card from any Commercial Bank in Nigeria.
- Review and confirm your information before submitting your application online (no corrections will be accepted after the closing date).
Return online on the designated date to print the acknowledgement slip that indicates your specific grouping of courses for the Screening Exercise, categorized by faculty.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Candidates should check online from Monday, October 2nd, 2023, for their specific day, venue, and time for the screening.
- All candidates must be seated at least one hour before their scheduled screening time.
- The use of mobile phones and calculators is prohibited.
Candidates should arrive at the Screening Centre with the following:
i. Acknowledgement slip
ii. Screening Invitation Slip containing the screening schedule
Application Deadline:
The application website will close by midnight on Friday, September 22nd, 2023. All applications must be completed online by this date. Candidates who make payments after the deadline will not undergo the screening process.
