FUNAI Post-UTME/DE 2023: Minimum Scores, Qualification Criteria, and Application Guidelines
The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, wishes to announce the commencement of the registration for the 2023/2024 academic session's Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) Screening. The registration period is set to begin on Tuesday, 15th August, 2023, and conclude on Sunday, 1st October, 2023.
Prospective candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2023 UTME and made AE-FUNAI their first choice institution, or have successfully changed their First Choice to AE-FUNAI, are eligible to apply. However, candidates intending to study Medicine and Surgery should have a minimum score of 250, and those aspiring for Law must attain a minimum score of 240 in the UTME to qualify for the University's Post-UTME.

Additional Information:
- For those wishing to register for the Post-UTME through the AE-FUNAI ICT Centres, they can visit the University CBT Centre on the campus or the Centre for Educational Services (JUPEB/Pre-Degree School) in Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki.
- During registration, candidates are advised to provide accessible GSM numbers for smooth communication.
- Candidates are reminded that any false information discovered during the screening and admission process will lead to disqualification.
Payment and Registration Procedure:
Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000 only. The registration steps are as follows:
To register, follow the steps outlined below:
• Visit the University website: www.funai.edu.ng, go to ADMISSIONS at the top menu or QUICK LINKS,
• Click on 2023/2024 UTME Admission Screening OR 2023/2024 Direct Entry Admission Screening
• Click on “Prospective Students”
• Click on “Click to Apply” under 2023/2024 Admission Screening Application
• Enter your “JAMB Registration Number”
• Select your payment mode (Generate Remita Retrieval Reference Number).
• Proceed to any bank for your payment with your Remita number.
• Return to the Application page and enter your “JAMB Registration Number” again.
• Proceed with the completion of the form
• Submit your application.
• Print out your acknowledgement slip.
Screening Mode:
The screening for the 2023/2024 academic session PUTME will be based on the assessment of JAMB UTME results and verified O/Level and Direct Entry results. There will be no PUTME Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates are required to upload their O/Level and Direct Entry results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) by 1st October 2023. Applications without result upload will not be processed.
