OAUSTECH's Post-UTME/DE for the year 2023: Information on Cut-off mark, Eligibility, and Registration.

 All UTME and Direct Entry applicants who have sought admission to Ousegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), previously referred to as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, for the academic session 2023/2024, are hereby informed that the registration process for the Post-UTME Admissions Screening Exercise is now open.



Applicants who selected OAUSTECH as their primary institution and achieved a score of 150 or higher in the 2023 UTME are qualified to participate in the Post-UTME Screening for OAUSTECH.


Details regarding OAUSTECH's Post-UTME/DE 2023, including cut-off marks, eligibility criteria, and registration information, can be found above. Furthermore, candidates who initially chose the University as their second preference or didn't select it at all are advised to modify their institution choice to OAUSTECH as their first selection on the JAMB website. Direct Entry candidates should also designate OAUSTECH as their first choice before proceeding with registration. All candidates are required to have obtained a minimum of five (5) O Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two (2) sittings.


It's important to note that all programs in the School of Science now have a duration of four (4) years.

Specific Admission Requirements


Applicants are strongly recommended to review the eligibility criteria for each program on the University's official website before proceeding with the registration process.


Nursing Science


Candidates intending to pursue Nursing Science should have obtained a score of 180 or higher in the 2023 UTME. These candidates are also required to participate in the Post-UTME (PUTME) examination, the date of which will be communicated later and is expected to take place in late September 2023.


Agriculture


For the programs of Agricultural Economics and Extension, Animal Production and Health, as well as Crop, Soil, and Pest Management, these fall within the Agriculture category on the JAMB portal. Applicants selecting Agriculture on the JAMB portal are to choose any of these three programs on the University portal.


Payment


A fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only must be paid through the outlined procedure using an ATM card.


Application Process


  1. Candidates should visit either the University's official website at https://oaustech.edu.ng or the Admission portal at https://portal.oaustech.edu.ng/apply.
  2. It is strongly advised that candidates carefully read the registration instructions provided on the portal before initiating the screening registration process.
  3. All candidates are required to use their VALID UTME Registration Number to create an account and make the necessary payment on the platform.
  4. It is crucial to accurately provide the candidate's DE or UTME Registration Number and their Full Names (as indicated on the UTME Slip) during the payment and registration stages.
  5. Following a successful payment, candidates will be automatically directed through the registration stages, where they will comprehensively complete their data registration forms and upload relevant documents online.
  6. Candidates are recommended to print a copy of the application form, which should be brought along for the POST UTME exercise.
