Post-UTME screening timetable for UNIPORT, 2023/2024 academic session.

The University of Port Harcourt wishes to inform candidates who selected the University as their first choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieved a minimum score of 150 that the Post-UTME Screening Exercise has been scheduled.

Candidates are strongly advised to obtain the official UNIPORT Post-UTME past questions and answers to ensure thorough preparation for the screening process.

Below is the outlined schedule for the Screening Exercise:

Monday, 28th August 2023: Anatomy/Physiology/Nursing/Dentistry/, Agriculture, SSLT, Allied & Health Science

Tuesday, 29th August 2023: Humanities, Pharmacy, Communication & Media Science

Wednesday, 30th August 2023: Management Science, Law

Thursday, 31st August 2023: Engineering, Education

Friday, 1st September 2023: Social Science, Science, Computing

Saturday, 2nd September 2023: Medicine and Surgery

IMPORTANT DATES AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

Eligible candidates must input their UTME Registration Number and verify pre-loaded UTME details.
Generate a Remita code for payment using payment cards like MasterCard, Visa, Verve, etc., or print out the Payment Slip and proceed to designated banks (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, AND UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK) to make a payment of N2,000.00.
Obtain a Remita receipt containing an Access Code from the bank teller to confirm payment.
Return online, log in with the UTME Registration Number and the Access Code from the payment slip.
Complete the required online Form and print the Photo Card for clearance in the Screening Exercise.
Reprint the Photo Card a day before the examination.
Note the specific Screening date and time indicated on the Photo Card.

Candidates failing to register within the stipulated period will be ineligible for participation in the screening process.

MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR THE POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE:

Candidates should bring the following items:

A clear printout of the online Photo Card
A pen

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Any inconsistencies in names or photographs on the Registration Slip will lead to disqualification.
Names on O'Level Certificates, UTME Results, and other registration documents must match.
Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old by October 2023 to be eligible for the exercise.
Electronic devices such as mobile phones, iPads, iPods, and similar gadgets are not allowed at the Screening Venue.
Registration must be completed online. Physical presence on the campus is unnecessary.
Candidates who initially chose the University as their second choice and wish to be considered for admission can apply for the Screening Exercise after changing their First Choice to the University of Port Harcourt before Sunday, 13th August 2023.
O'Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB website promptly to be considered for admission.
Candidates should register using valid personal telephone numbers (GSM) and email addresses.
Adherence to the scheduled time on the Photo Card is crucial to avoid disqualification.
Parents, guardians, and unauthorized security personnel will not be granted access to the campus during the Screening Exercise.
