RSUST Post-UTME 2023: Information on Cut-off Marks, Eligibility, and Registration
For all candidates who selected Rivers State University, Nicpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt as their choice of institution in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have received confirmation from JAMB, please take note of the following important details:
ELIGIBILITY
i. The admission screening will exclusively be conducted for candidates who designated RSU as their primary choice of university.
ii. Only candidates who attained a score of 190 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to participate in the screening process for all faculties of the University.
iii. Candidates must meet the University's Entry Requirements (Faculty/Departmental) as stipulated in the Jamb Brochure, including having the essential five (5) O’ level credit passes. Candidates must also upload their O’Level results. However, candidates anticipating their O’level results can still apply, but they should indicate their situation clearly.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
iv. Candidates need to complete the online registration for the screening by accessing www.rsu.edu.ng and making a payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) using Interswitch Verve-enabled cards. Further assistance can be sought through online chat support. For reliable registration and biometric verification, candidates are recommended to utilize the Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC) at Rivers State University.
v. It is crucial for candidates to provide accurate information while applying for the Post-UTME Screening test.
vi. Candidates should be aware that the screening process will be conducted electronically. Familiarity with computer usage, including the use of the mouse and keyboard, is essential.
vii. The screening test will be conducted at the Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC) of the University, and candidates must adhere to the specified time and date on their screening test slip, as no latecomers will be admitted.
viii. Registration for the screening exercise will be open from Monday, July 3, 2022, to Thursday, August 17, 2023.
SCREENING EXERCISE SCHEDULE
The Post-UTME screening exercise will occur at the Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC) of the University (Specific date to be communicated later). Candidates are encouraged to obtain the RSUST Post-UTME past questions and answers. Click HERE to access them. Candidates must adhere to the screening exercise date, time, and venue indicated on their test slip, which they obtained during the online registration.
Candidates who fail to take the screening test on the scheduled date and time will not be given any consideration. All candidates are required to strictly adhere to the examination dates mentioned on the test slip generated during online registration.
Parents, guardians, and well-wishers are advised to refrain from visiting the screening exercise venue.
