This notice serves to inform all prospective candidates interested in the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies (JUBEP programme) that the previously inaccessible online application portal has now been reopened. Applications are now being welcomed from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies [JUPEB Programme] for the academic year 2023/2024, which commenced in July 2023.
This programme is set to run for one Academic Session, starting from September 2023 and ending in August 2024. The objective of this intensive program is to prepare exceptionally brilliant candidates for admission into the 200-level degree program offered by JUPEB AFFILIATED UNIVERSITIES.
The program is situated at the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies Campus, ASCON Road, Topo, Badagry.

Further information concerning admission requirements, available courses, and the application fee are outlined as follows:
1.0 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(a) Five (5) Ordinary Level Credits in relevant subjects, including English Language.
For candidates intending to pursue courses in Medicine/Dentistry/Nursing/Pharmacology, Agricultural Science, Science, Education, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Engineering, a Credit Pass in Mathematics is mandatory.
(b) Students who meet the admission requirements will be invited to undertake a written qualifying examination.
(c) Successful candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000.00) only.

2.0 CRITERIA FOR TRANSITIONING TO 200 LEVEL
The course allocation will be
determined by the level of performance.
Students will sit for the JUPEB
Examination at the end of the course and will have the opportunity to
transition to 200 Level in any of the JUPEB Affiliated Universities.
(a) Successful candidates
enrolled in the degree programs at the 200 level must purchase the Direct Entry
JAMB Form.
(b) Students who fail may be
allowed to repeat the program; however, they will be required to pay all
necessary fees.
(c) If any student voluntarily
withdraws from the program upon admission, requests for the refund of school
fees will NOT be entertained.
3.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION

4.0 CLOSING DATE

The Qualifying Examination for
admission into the Program will be held on Saturday, 16th September 2023, at
11:00 a.m. at the LASUSBAS Location, Topo Road, Badagry, Lagos.
8.0 COMMENCEMENT OF LECTURE
Lectures will commence
immediately.
9.0 GENERAL INFORMATION
The University provides hostel
