This announcement is being made for the convenience of all candidates who attained a score of 140 or higher in the Joint Admissions & Matriculation Examination and have designated the University of Calabar as their primary choice in their application for admission to the University for the academic session of 2023/2024.
Commencement of Portal Activation/Registration
Registration will commence from Monday, July 10th, 2023, when the portal will be made accessible for this purpose. However, it's important to note that the portal will be closed at exactly 12.00 midnight on Sunday, August 20th, 2023.
Payment and Registration Process
Candidates can choose from the following options:
E-tranzact option:
This choice is available in all commercial banks across the country. At the bank, you are required to make payment and receive an E-transact PIN. Use the PIN to log into the portal http://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link, then follow the instructions as indicated on the portal after logging in.
Buy Post-UTME Pin Online option:
This option provides the opportunity to purchase the Post-UTME pin from the portal. Click "Buy Post-UTME Pin Online" to acquire the Post-UTME pin online. Log in using the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN on the portal.
After obtaining the scratch card, proceed as follows:
- VISIT http://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link.
- Enter your accurate JAMB Registration Number in the designated box.
- Input the confirmation order number or TRANSACTION ID in the provided box.
- Click on login and follow the online instructions.
- Confirm your entries and CLICK ON SUBMIT.
- Print out the completed form.
THE FOLLOWING FEES SHALL APPLY:
Aptitude Test = ₦2,000.00.
The aptitude test will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The screening test will now take place from Monday, August 28th, 2023, to Saturday, September 2nd, 2023. It's highly recommended that candidates obtain the UNICAL Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers to adequately prepare for the screening exercise.
NOTICE:
- Candidates must bring along their original UTME result slips that display the candidate's photograph.
- The Post UTME exercise will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Candidates with any form of special needs or disability should indicate during registration.
ADDITIONALLY NOTED:
a.) Impersonation is a severe offense and any individual caught will be handed over to the Law Enforcement Authorities and may be subject to up to 5 years of imprisonment.
b.) Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will automatically forfeit their chance of being considered for admission.
c.) Commencing registration early is recommended to prevent congestion during the closing hours.
d.) Candidates should check the Portal from Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, for information on their assigned venue and time for the CBT. It is essential for candidates to ensure that they provide accurate phone numbers in their online form as the University will communicate directly with them.
