1,985,642 JAMB candidates registered to write 2024 UTME, see statistics in each state

The 2024 UTME registration data provides insights into the number of candidates registered in each state across Nigeria. According to JAMB statistics, Oyo State boasts the highest number of registered candidates, with 123,636, followed closely by Ogun State with 114,435 registrants.



Conversely, Zamfara and FCT Abuja have the lowest numbers of registered candidates, with only 9,473 and 8,020 respectively.


Furthermore, the data reveals that 980,419 male candidates have registered for the 2024 UTME, while 1,005,223 female candidates have applied to sit for the exam. Additionally, 2,026 People Living With Disabilities (PLWDs) have been registered for free, bringing the total number of registered candidates to 1,985,642.
